Email Marketing & Automation Specialist (part-time, contract position)

Description

We are seeking an experienced Email Marketing and Automation Specialist — preferably proficient in VBOUT. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in email marketing strategies, automation workflows, and data-driven decision-making, coupled with an interest in permaculture.

Working from home or our office in Central Victoria, Australia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Email Campaign Management

    Plan, create, and execute email marketing campaigns using VBOUT, ensuring alignment with overall marketing goals and permaculture ethics.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration

    Work closely with our copywriter and designer to develop and refine content, ensuring it is high-quality and seamlessly integrated into email campaigns.

  • Automation Workflows

    Develop and optimise marketing automation workflows, including drip campaigns, lead nurturing sequences, and trigger-based communications.

  • Segmentation and Personalization

    Implement advanced list segmentation strategies to deliver personalised content that enhances engagement and conversion rates.

  • Deliverability Optimization

    Ensure high deliverability rates by managing sender reputation, email authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), and compliance with anti-spam regulations.

  • Data Management

    Maintain and enrich the email database, ensuring data integrity and compliance with GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and other relevant regulations.

Preferred Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in email marketing and automation.
  • Proven experience using VBOUT, ActiveCampaign, Drip, or HubSpot for campaign management and automation.

Key Skills

  • Proficiency with email marketing platforms (preferably VBOUT) and CRM systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and project management abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative marketing ideas.
  • Collaborative team player with a proactive attitude.
  • Experience with WordPress, Elementor, Make, social media marketing, or website analytics is a plus.

Hours

5 to 8 hours per week.

Remuneration

$35 per hour.
